| We're actually seeing some interesting personal growth here. the first rendition of this favorites list was an army of cookie cutter shounen potatoes, but now we're starting to see some diversity. Some mature characters have made an appearance such as Shinya and Toua. Heck we even have a protagonist from a shounen parody in Mob. An actually good character such as Kaguya now inhabits that list as well, but it's a shame to see Nanachi go. the user still has a nasty Isekai phase with two Re:Zero characters occupying the two top slots, but after seeing the rapid evolution of this list, we can expect Subaru and Rem being replaced by better characters sooner rather than later. |

What matters is if the character happens to be your favourite or not. Changing/rotating the characters in your favourites column helps in bringing different characters of yours to other people's attention, that's it, but that doesn't mean we are only supposed to pick only from there, especially when your extended favourites list exists. |
