| Wow. They sure used up first 4 minutes with only opening theme song and plot summary. Deciding between sea and mountain was so funny. And Shirogane's love advice lol. Ending theme song was great. Story is not being adapted in the same order as the manga and they skipped few chapters too. Hope they adapt those chapters later. Like going to the movie using movie tickets from the first episode. |

| The VAs nailed their role in this episode, especially when they adapted the Shirogane giving advice chapter. The directing is very strong and the art is still beautiful, impressive A-1 Also Kabe-DOWN had me rolling |

| Honestly, I think I'll be unable to resist for much longer, I'll probably read the manga. I really can't describe why I like this so much, but I must say Miyuki, Kaguya and Chika are three of my favourite characters of the season, along with Mob, Reigen and Dimple. |

What I felt, while reading the manga, is that you have to read at least a good amount of chapters, after having read 20 of them I was like totally in love with the series, so I think for anime onlies, the more you watch, the more charmed you will become, once you realize it keeps the quality and even surprises you here and there. Another really enjoyable episode, I will have to rewatch this one when GJM releases theirs. LOVING Kaguya's VA and reactions, the ED didnt made much of an impression on me so far, they are going with a more sad and depressive tone, whereas OP is full on colourfull and silly scenes. Maybe with lyrics I will dig it more. |

| Narration got annoying already in the middle of the first episode but now it was even more jarring. How awful it is when it drowns out a character speaking. Even more with such voice acting. Once again, it might work in the manga where you just skim over it but not in anime where it takes so much time. It wasn't even funny in the first place, repeating the same dull joke over and over again only make it even worse. I like the premise and characters have a certain charm to them, but if they don't tone down this fucking narration next episode, I'm not sure I'll be able to continue watching. |

Chika's reactions are so funny, especially the part with the phone, to the point where she came to the conclusion that Kaguya's phone is too old XD Miyuki giving advice on love, while Kaguya was listening to it. This scene was such gold, Kaguya's reaction was so cute! To think Miyuki's advice actually worked! |

| Every second of the first segment became more and more hilarious. Miyuki mentioning his "embarrassing" profile pic and saying he will change it within 3min; Kaguya revealing that all the people on the street were staged to subconsciously persuade Miyuki into buying a phone; and then Kaguya has a flip phone. I remember last week there were several people who didnt think this show was funny and couldnt understand why the rest of us do find it funny. I think I understand it enough now to explain it: The conflict in each episode segment is over something simple, trivial, and mundane; However, this simple conflict is presented as if it is a high-stakes battle, and the characters escalate it to a high level of intensity. The characters also use well thought out strategies that are planned several steps ahead. It's funny because the viewer gets to know BOTH of their strategies and knows what both are thinking. In some cases, the viewer is able to vaguely predict what will happen next in the plan; but then right when it seems like one side has been cornered, something completely unexpected happens, which makes the situation even funnier. And then of course, there's the secretary girl who frequently foils the character's strategies, or is sometimes used as a tool within a strategy, and she is completely oblivious to it all. And besides all that, the very fact that the two characters do secretly like each other, but are forced to feign indifference is hilarious in itself. |

| The writer of this series just knows how to execute a good romantic comedy. When Shirogane gave that boy love advice I just laughed so hard how wrong he was, but I was surprised that his advice actually worked. My best highlight though has to be where he discovered Shinomiya was listening to him when he described her characteristics. But now Kaguya is more in love with than ever. Best show so far and one of my favorite this season, probably will be in my favorite list if it goes the way I think it would. |

| Yo I love this anime! I had a grin on my face from beginning to end. It's so adorable! Kaguya is precious and I really like Shirogane as a Male MC. That love advice was hilarious. The entire time though I was thinking "This might actually work!" and sure enough. I liked the smooth transition to complementing Kaguya too. |

| Absolutely hilarious and an epitome of ridiculousness, this episode! Surely a tad bit better than the first episode, and that’s great to see! Hopefully, it keeps getting better and better from here onwards. Oddly enough, we got the same intro as the first episode’s but I honestly found it to be equally hilarious and hence not a bother to have around again. I wonder if that intro will remain throughout the season, I don’t think I’d feel the same as now from say 3-4 weeks from now though. Op really grew on me it seems, meanwhile. After watching the first episode earlier this past week, I was entranced by the visuals of the Op but not quite so much for the song. However, for this week, they really hit home for me and was, in short, really a delight! ED song was really soothing to listen to and the visuals for it was sweet to see as well! Shinomiya finally buying a phone, thanks to Kaguya’s persistence(xD, using her maids and butlers to do that is just xD). Lol, him then using his profile picture to challenge Kaguya was hilarious! I got to say though Kaguya memorising the picture in that split second was commendable, lol. Chika, the dimwit, then stating the obvious to end the little heated conversation was on-point, lmao. Compared to the other two segments, this was evidently the least funniest but it was really good nevertheless. Second segment featuring the Sea v Mountains was even more hilarious, lol. Loved the way their ideas changed midway after thinking through, *face palm*. Both lost though because Chika’s too scary, lol. Ghandi, Shakespeare, Einstein among many more, I can totally see why Shirogane and Kaguya gave up there since I’d totally do the same in that dire situation. Final segment off Shinomiya’s love advices was easily the most ridiculous, how can he be so positive and yet do nothing about his own love affair? Lol, Kaguya’s timely monologues and Shinomiya’s own words resonating to him was god-tier hilarious! Lol, “I have to choose only one among them?” and then the sharp reply of “Are you an idiot, too?” was lol moment of the episode for me. Shinomiya going on and on about Kaguya later on though was very sweet, he even caught a glimpse of Kaguya eavesdropping there but of course it only made things more awkward for him following that scene lol. Kaguya’s happy moody self there was a treat to watch, though. Looking forward to more of this! I’ve already awarded this show a 9 but if it keeps up, I’ll definitely bump it up. |

| Maybe my first question is so unimportant but I really damn curious: in the end of this episode, that guy who asked for advice finally confessed to kashiwagi. But there is a small picture of twin-tail girl (kashiwagi's friend), crying after that (which also appear at the end of chapter that adapted here from manga). Is that mean that girl is the one who actually has feeling for that guy ? Okay, back to the entire episode. Another funny episode. Kaguya is really forget when she thinks about sea, that she has rival in the department of body shape xD flat is justice, kaguya. Flat is justice.... (at least for those who believed it =D). Miyuki almost like doing indirect confession, with praising what's good from kaguya. At least, that made her happy, right ? |
