| Episode started with a 4-3, a yet very close game. There's also some mind games again and background storytelling. However, I think this episode was well balanced just like how the score quickly turned into a draw. I think most interesting element of this game is looking at how everyone is trying to exceed their own expectations. Yoichi had that electric spark in his eye and seems to be in synch with Negi. T |

| Yes Barou was lacking vocabulary since he was a kid, it isn’t something he developed after hitting puberty. Goodness the official confirmation. Getting back to the game, Barou’s desperation isn’t something like news to anyone anymore. Given the fuckload of pride he carries himself with, first missing a goal and meanwhile passing the ball, even though it wasn’t intentional to none other than Isagi and helping him score a goal was just the last nail in the coffin before Barou fell into the deepest depths of depression. Further Isagi ABSOLUTELY DISRESPECTING Barou with that one-liner LMAO. But as they say you can’t keep a good player down for long and indeed that’s just what we witnessed with Barou. That whole segment with Barou reflecting upon his actions and devouring not just Isagi but every single being on the field and in return becoming that main villain was straight fire. THE BEST GOAL YET, Barou’s deciding one without a single shred of doubt. Isagi’s team won and now they're gonna steal someone from the red team. Early Blue Lock was hype unlike the circus it is right now and this was one such instance. |

| PURE HYPE! I loved the development of Barou finally adapted into the anime. Not to mention, I love the choice of Black and Red they used in his animation. Cute little mini anime about Anri at the end which was a nice bonus. |
| Barou has finally awakened. I like this new rivalry that's developed between him and Isagi. Both become so relentless on the field. |
| That was such a good episode. Loved seeing Isagi acting like a king and Barou feeling defeated but then he had his awakening which was fucking awesome to see. He's the king after all. And, now they have to choose someone for the next round. Great episode. Anri is very cute. I love her. |

| Isagi only improves more and more, even calling Barou an donkey lolz. Barou's past was interesting, man saw himself as the king the whole time but now he got put on the ground by Isagi & Nagi. Barou's strength finally awoke, man was hyperspeed and scored the final goal, leading their team to victory. Ofcourse its gonna end on a cliffhanger, which person will they choose? |

| Isagi continued to disrespect the fuck out of Barou lol. OWN HIM ISAGI. TALK YOUR SHIT. But of course Barou's slump didn't last for long. It was truly the return of the king with that hype as fuck awakening. The black and red lightning effect only added to the cool factor. Now that the king is back and Team White narrowly escaped defeat, it's time to pick one of the Team Red guys and move on. |

| First of all, we're now eighteen episodes in. We know what we're getting - please don't complain about the series' showcasing of "unrealistic" football. Go watch Ao Ashi or something instead. Now, the episode itself was pretty damn hype. Two things Blue Lock has captured perfectly are the feeling of watching, and the feeling of playing football. I've been following football since age 6 and I started watching anime around that time too, and I can categorically say that no other sports anime (or more specifically football anime) has presented a feeling that's equally as exhilarating as watching the real thing. Lots of the things shown in Blue Lock are crazy, but the adrenaline is real. I've played football for the most part of my life, and today's episode felt like the shite we used to play on the streets as kids. Anyone who plays 3 v 3s or five-a-sides should be able to testify. As an anime, the series isn't anything outstanding, objectively speaking. But as a football anime, it's the best I've come across (having seen others like Days and Giant Killing). Also, nice callback to the win against Spain, intended or not. ^^ Can't wait for the rest of this season. |

| Man. Stop trying to make me feel sorry for this character we've barely known for a few episodes and who's been nothing but a damn jerk all the time. It's not gonna happen, no matter what. I'm not gonna be interested in him either. |
| That's why I prefer binging seasonals. Waiting 1 week for anime like Blue Lock that barely satisfies with 1 episode. Either way, this anime is way more action-oriented, but still loses in hype moments to Kuroko and Haikyuu, story is just as predictable as in any typical shounen. Prediction: team Isagi picks Chigiri then next episode establishes something(?), then another 3-4 episodes of Team Isagi - Team Rin, Isagi somehow being a star now still loses in a closer game(?), Rin picks Isagi then last 1-2 episodes prepare for something BIG and BANG S2/Movie announced soon. Waiting for Haikyuu movies. |

| ngl I enjoyed this episode but that chop dribble shit with the red and black stuff wasn't it fam. I didn't even see the actual chop dribble. Overall it was distracting and not necessary. I wish it was animated like how Bachira's dribbling is animated, where you can clearly make out what is happening. Even in the manga, I didn't like this Barou scene because it felt too abrupt. It makes last week's episode and his passing to Isagi feel unnecessary for Barou's character because he still goes back to his default way of playing. I have no problem with Barou scoring but the fact that he blitzed through everyone and ignored his teammates for the nth time just doesn't sit right with me. I guess his act of "devouring" Isagi instead of going blindly for goal is supposed to be his eureka moment? Idk. I enjoyed the scene where Barou was about to pass, but the "monster" inside him was stopping him from executing that action. Some nerds are not going to see it as a case of Barou's inner conflict and how his brain doesn't want to register the thought of passing to anyone in a goalscoring opportunity. I'm interested to see what happens with Barou in his next match because quite frankly, I don't remember. |

| Ok episode. Wish they could've at least animated Barou's chop feint moves better. The red-and-black color on Barou and the soundtrack when he scored the goal were pretty sick though. Isagi really went from trashing Barou multiple times on the field to acting all innocent and nice when the game ended lol. Kinda sad they ended the episode here, the next chapter adapted would've been a much cooler place to end at imo. Reo looked like he aged 30 years in that one shot then de-aged by 40 years in the last shot lmaooo. T-T |

| That was good, and I guess now to get Bachira back and see if this new Isagi can stand up to Rin or whatever his name is XD By the way they have to choose whether or not to Chigiri, he was the only one of the three who continued to insist and evolve his way of playing. Besides that I would like to see who is faster, chigiri or the insecure muscular one. |

| I have read 2 perfect chapters of manga; They are Usogui Chapter 203 and Onani Master Kurosawa Chapter 23. Slam Dunk Chapters 272 to 276 are a perfect stretch of manga. |

| Barou got a taste of his own medicine once he realized that he wasn't the only dominating force on the team anymore. All that despair made Barou humble himself to a point where he unlocked the chop dribbling technique that allowed him to win the game winning goal. At least the King realizes that his teammates that just as talented as him and they are on an even playing field. Now the question is who are they choose to be on Isagi's team. Damn that cliffhanger. We also got to see the daily life of Anri at Blue Lock. |
