1. First, the IPs: There is some really fishy activity going on, I as well as KA$HMIR have had our talkpages vandalised by malicious WP:SPA IP bullies who are obviously long term editors but are IP socking to frame me and KA$HMIR for sockpuppetry.
See this malicious message from an IP which geolocates to Bengaluru in Karnataka state of India, in South India,[1] on KA$HMIR's userpage [2]:
KA$HMIR - about me - Am an old user (Owais Khurseed) :D I hope indians you have not forgotten me am still doing edits for my friends TalhaZubair Butt. ha ha Indians can never catch me. #gayhind
And on my userpage another dodgy IP, this time from New Delhi further up north in India,[3] turns up with the same style of message. It says [4] :
To Indians: User:KA$HMIR is me - ha ha - am doing edits for my friends Talha Zubair Butt a k a User:Towns Hill. Me and my friends has dozens of wikipedia. accounts cunning Indian Kautilya can never catch . HA H A HA Kashmir Banega Pakistan. I N S H A L L A H
What is clear is that the IPs and their masters have a problem with me and KA$HMIR.
The IPs' intricate knowledge of the old usernames of former users and ready links to an old SPI show that they are old users baying for blood, and are not mere passerbys.
The obvious aims of this IP harassment is twofold. The first is to frame me and KA$HMIR as sockpuppets/meatpuppets. The second is to escape the consequences of WP:HARASSMENT on their registered accounts.
2. Behavioural evidence linking IPs with Kautilya3: Note that both IPs refer to the user Kautilya3, the former links to an SPI filed by Kautilya3 and the latter mentions him by name. This suggests a link. Now who do we know on Wikipedia who is obsessively accuses me of meatpuppetry? The first user is Kautilya3. After the SPI in May found the obvious truth that I am no sockpuppet, Kautilya3 has been showing signs of frustration that he has been unable to get rid of me, accusing me of being a proxy editor at any chance he gets[5][6].
What the IPs and Kautilya3 have in common is a problem with me and accusations of meatpuppetry against me.
3. Behavioural evidence linking IPs with MBlaze Lightning: The different locations of these IPs with the same goal suggests that more than one person is actively doing background meatpuppetry.
Now here the case becomes more interesting. KA$HMIR has been confronted with a foe. MBlaze Lightning, who is no stranger to sockpuppetry, joins in a SPI against KA$HMIR where it later becomes clear that KA$HMIR is not a sock. MBlaze Lightning also likes to mention KA$HMIR in a ANI case which was based on such bad evidence that even MBlaze Lightniing had to abandon it. In his unhealthy obsession, his latest anti-KA$HMIR effort is this AE request.
What the IPs and MBlaze Lightning have in common is a problem with KA$HMIR.
4. Behavioural evidence of coordination between Kautilya3 and MBlaze Lightning: Now it becomes even more disturbing that wherever Kautilya3 is, MBlaze Lightning folows suit [7][8], or vice versa [9]. A very recent example is that Kautilya3, a user with no prior activity on the page Violence against women during the partition of India, turns up on the talkpage, much to the suspicion of other long-term editors. Soon after Kautilya3's sudden arrival at 16:27 on 20 December, MBlaze Lightning turns up, himself having no major contribution to that page, and does a revert on the article, to ensure the article mentions 'both things' as Kautilya3 demanded on the talkpage. In another discussion early this month Kautilya3 arrives to support MBlaze Lightnig on Talk:Annexation of Junagadh despite no recent activity on the article since mid July. There are several such examples.
This is eerily familiar to the coordination between the two IPs, one from South India and the other from North India. The evidence for sockpuppetry/meatpuppetry is compelling.
5. Conclusion: That the IPs are linked sockpuppets/meatpuppets, there can be no doubt. But what the evidence points towards is that the IPs are either the socks or meatpuppets of either Kautilya3 and MBlaze Lightning or both. The evidence also indicates meatpuppetry, even possible sockpuppetry, between Kautilya3 and MBlaze Lightning.
I would also request CU to check for sleepers on the IP ranges and on both Kautilya3 and MBlaze Lightning. The CU should be run thoroughly. Owais Khursheed (Talk to me) 06:48, 23 December 2017 (UTC)
